About Me

I am 46, have two of my own children. I've been doing child care for thirteen years now and I've accumulated many hours of training.

Philosophy

I try to be a second mom to my day care children. I leave the preschooling up to the professionals (my prices reflect this), but I cook and prepare meals and snacks throughout the day. I transport to and from the local preschool/school. We play outdoors a lot with bubbles, water tables, trikes, chalk, etc., and I have a huge back yard and a golden retriever. Indoors we play memory games and use playdough, color, paint, puppets, bean bag games, and computer games.

Experience

Thirteen years of licensed experience, over 130 hours of training, aquired all training for infant/toddler license but currently hold regular license. I have two of my own children, ages 13 and 18.

Early Learning Program

I will transport your child(ren) to and from Lilly Gulch Preschool.

Policies

I have the usual policies/rules. Child care must be paid for whether absent or not every week, all during the year. If I take a vacation or sick leave, parents do not have to pay. I will take all regular holidays off with pay. Fees are due every Monday in advance. No child should be here for more than 10 hours per day. Parents should drop off and pick up before and after work without leaving children here longer than what is necessary for a regular work day and commute. However, if parents take a day off work to run errands, etc., that's fine as long as they drop off and pick up within the normal hours it would take for work and commuting.

Additional Information

My current rates are: from 0-3 $145/week full time; from 4-6 $125/week; first grade on up is $100 per week. All meals are included except for school lunches (parents pack those).
